Aluminum foundry

An aluminum foundry produces castings from aluminum alloys – in permanent molds, sand molds or under pressure. At our foundry in Janikowo near Poznań, we carry out the entire order in one plant, from the pattern through casting to machining and painting.

The full process in one plant

  1. Documentation review – based on a drawing or 3D model, we select the process and the alloy per PN-EN 1706.
  2. Patterns and molds – we make them using CAD/CAM systems, CNC machines and 3D printing: steel for large series, wood or resin for short runs and prototypes.
  3. Melting – we melt certified charge material in three furnaces with digital melt control, and we refine and modify the liquid metal.
  4. Casting – permanent mold (0.1 to 50 kg), sand (1 to 100 kg) and high-pressure die castings (series of up to 100,000 pieces per year).
  5. Machining and finishing – gating system removal on band saws and circular saws, manual and robotic grinding, CNC machining on 3- and 5-axis centers and lathes.
  6. Finishing – powder coating in the full RAL palette and, on request, heat treatment and strength testing.
  7. Inspection and shipping – in line with the ISO 9001 quality management system and technical acceptance conditions for castings.

We supply castings to companies across Poland and abroad, including Germany, Scandinavia and Southern Europe. They go to the automotive, household appliance, electronics, valve and fittings, agricultural machinery and furniture industries, among others. In short: our aluminum foundry in Poznań handles the entire process: patterns and molds, permanent mold, sand and high-pressure die castings, CNC machining, powder coating and heat treatment. We operate under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
